Illuminite 2016

On November 19th the spectacular holiday lighting ceremony will kick off the holiday season in the Downtown Yonge neighbourhood. Be prepared to be amazed!

Kidzfest 2016

Come and have fun with the family at the annual KidzFest on November 26th. See your favourite children’s characters come to life, have your photos taken & enjoy free activities.

Remembrance Day 2016

On November 11th at 11am bag pipers will be stationed at different intersections on Yonge Street within the Downtown Yonge BIA to play the Lament and to observe the two-minute of silence.

Fashion On Yonge 2016

See the hottest looks for the fall and enjoy a night of fashion, food and music as we bring back Fashion on Yonge on September 7th at the historic Holy Trinity Church. In between shows, you can consult and get some helpful tips for our style experts.



Play The Parks 2016

This June 22 through September 18 we invite you to sit back, relax and soak in the sun as you enjoy a free concert series at different locations with in the Downtown Yonge area. This year’s season is curated by Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall.

The Living Flag 2016

Be part of Downtown Yonge Living Flag this Canada Day. Join over 400 people who will descend to Yonge-Dundas Square on July 1st to form the Canadian Flag. FREE shirts on us! (Until supplies lasts)



Winter Magic 2015

Now on its ninth year, Winter Magic transforms Downtown Yonge into a winter playground with dazzling holiday lighting installations and a series of signature events in November. This festival celebrates the best of the holiday season and brings together the community. Winter Magic events vary in theme, audience, location and includes: Illuminite, Ice, Wine & Dine, and Kidzfest.

Celebrate Yonge 2012

This four-week long festival offered pedestrians the chance to experience Downtown Yonge like never before. From August 17 to September 16, 2012, Yonge Street between Queen and Gerrard was reduced from four to two lanes of traffic, and new public spaces for people were created right on the roadway. Visitors were able to eat a meal or have a drink at a restaurant patio, enjoy weekend programming and lounge in the public seating areas.
