This four-week long festival offered pedestrians the chance to experience Downtown Yonge like never before. From August 17 to September 16, 2012, Yonge Street between Queen and Gerrard was reduced from four to two lanes of traffic, and new public spaces for people were created right on the roadway. Visitors were able to eat a meal or have a drink at a restaurant patio, enjoy weekend programming and lounge in the public seating areas.
