Holiday Lights at Downtown yonge

We invite you to connect with the community and enjoy the holiday season in the Downtown Yonge neighbourhood. Visit, shop, dine and stroll through the parks and streets of the area to be delighted by seasonal lighting and holiday displays.

There are few spots around the neighbourhood that will definitely put you in a festive mood. Here are a few annual spots that are lit up in December!

  • Trinity Square, 19 Trinity Square Street – The entire park will look whimsical as over 100 lit trees glimmer. Take a walk through the light path and into the Eaton Centre, where you will find the tallest Christmas tree in Canada!
  • The Hudson’s Bay Windows – The iconic department store is keeping the tradition alive with its animated holiday windows. Maintain your six feet distance, the toy soldiers are on guard.
  • College Park, 420 Yonge Street – Bring your pair of ice skates and stop by the Barbara Ann Scott Skate Trail or you can stroll and enjoy the lights including a selfie frame. You might also catch the local reindeer grazing in the fields.  The skating trail and displays will be in place the entire season.
  • 777 Bay Markets – Look for their Christmas tree on location while shopping for those essentials!

Drive or Walk! – Whichever way you choose to visit the DYBIA neighbourhood, you’ll see the trees along Yonge St. and McGill-Granby Parkette, decked out in sparkly lights!
