Scotiabank BuskerFest Moves to Yonge Street

Epilepsy Toronto proudly and excitedly announced at a press conference held on April 16 that it is moving the location of its signature event, Scotiabank BuskerFest, to downtown Yonge Street for its 2013 edition, August 22 to 25 this year.

At this week’s OBIAA Conference Downtown Yonge BIA won an award for Special Events & Promotions for mounting "Celebrate Yonge." It was a transformative pilot event on Yonge Street between Queen and Gerrard from Aug 17 to Sep 16, 2012.

The Downtown Yonge B.I.A. Bike Parking Strategy is a comprehensive plan which seeks to increase and improve bicycle parking within the Downtown Yonge B.I.A. boundaries, making biking a more attractive and convenient option for residents, employees, shoppers, and guests.

The Discovery Team is a friendly, vibrant visitor services team out and about on the Downtown Yonge streets from May to August each year. As well as providing the free Discovery Walking Tours to interested visitors they offer area information about restaurants, retailers and more.
